Meet our team! Charlotte: "In Amsterdam anything is possible!"

Our French translator Charlotte talks about her favorite places in Amsterdam, how should a stripper look like and where to find the best sandwich ever!

At Fun Amsterdam, we offer various types of activities to suit many different travel styles. How do we do it? By having an awesome team of fun-loving individuals who always add something of their own to the mix!

In this series of posts you’ll get to know the members of our team – the faces of Fun Amsterdam.

Meet Charlotte! She’s a 23-year-old Frenchie. She’s just got a master’s degree in Global communication of brands and companies. At Fun Amsterdam, she manages the content for the French version of our website.

Amsterdam if fun because in Amsterdam anything is possible!

“I love to travel so it was natural for me to get a job in a tour company in Amsterdam”, says Charlotte as we’re walking through the picturesque streets of the Amsterdam’s canal belt.

Why do you think Amsterdam is fun?

Amsterdam is a city where anything is possible! Dutch people are super open-minded but serious, and legislation allows lots of things! So, it will be stupid not to enjoy it! If you’re thinking about a bahcelor party in Amsterdam – it will be crazy, for sure!

If you could choose only one tour or activity we offer, which one would that be and why?

It’s a no-brainer! Male striptease on a boat. First, you have a special point of view – it’s more original and local to see Amsterdam from the water. Then, there’s a hot guy. For me, he would have to be tall with brown hair and blue eyes… that type makes me on fire!

What is your favorite place in Charlotte of Fun Amsterdamthe city?

I love walking around the shopping district called The Nine Streets, shopping and eating near a canal.

What is your favorite place to eat?

I was walking around my neighborhood when I’ve seen this guy going out of a shop with a sandwich that looked amazing. I immediately went inside to discover a typical Dutch shop that sells cheese and ham. The shop is old – it has been there for at least 50 years, it’s wonderful,  authentic, and very, very local. It’s called De Kaasboer and it’s in the Jordaan neighborhood. The address is Tweede Tuindwarsstraat 3. Trust me, they make the best sandwiches in the whole of Amsterdam!
